What are Channels for Lodging Complaints?
If you face any interruption in the electric supply or in any equipment then here are the complaint registration channels. But keep in mind that make it your top priority to lodge your complaint in the most relevant and concerned authority. For example, if you are an IESCO consumer then the first register your complaint using CCMS of the Ministry of Power or Complaint Service of IESCO itself. If in spite of complaint registration, there is no positive feedback from concerned authorities then follow complaint registration alternative channel that has higher authority than that DISCO like MOWP, NEPRA, Pakistan Citizen Portal, or Wafaqi Muhtasib Complaints Management System.
Customer Complaint Management System (CCMS)
http://roshanpakistan.pk/ccms/ is the online complaint management system where you can register your complaint through a web portal. CCMS adopts a Complaint Resolution process which logs, investigates, and coordinates with relevant DISCO to resolve any customer dissatisfaction or problems.
Customer Complaint Management System is the initiative of the Ministry of Energy (Power Division) & developed by Power Information Technology Company to facilitate the customers about the issue they are facing.

There are another three channels as part of the Customer Complaint Management System where you can register your complaint.
- Electricity Complaint Call Center: Call 118 to register your complaint with detail as it is the centralized Contact Centre which is established in WAPDA Head Office Lahore in 2019.
- You can also send an SMS with detail of the complaint at 8118
- Email the detail of the complaint at [email protected]
Note: All the above 3 complaint registration channels are mentioned on the consumer electricity bill.
Steps of complaint resolution through CCMS
- Team receives your complaint and acknowledges it.
- Your registered complaint after the investigation will be forwarded to relevant DISCO which is operating in your area i.e. LESCO, GEPCO, FESCO, IESCO, MEPCO, PESCO, HESCO, SEPCO, QESCO or TESCO.
- Complaint Management System Team & relevant DISCOs both work together to address consumer complaint.
- CCMS team will keep you informed about the status of resolution of consumer complaint
Ministry of Water & Power Development Authority
MOWP is another effective medium where you can submit your complaints because all Electricity Distribution companies are responsible to answer the ministry.
Consumer can submit the form of complaint here on this link http://www.mowp.gov.pk/frmDetails.aspx. Provide your personal information detail & nature of complaint along with the Distribution Company working in your location.

Wafaqi Muhtasib carry out independent investigation into registered complaints against any federal agencies and departments.

Pakistan Citizen Portal is a government owned mobile application which provides access to lodge every type of complaint, related to any organization. It helps public to connect with the departments and organizations across Pakistan.
Complaints are monitored here with the passage of time.
Any compliant related to WAPDA can be registered here as well; Pakistan citizen portal will forward the consumer request to relevant WAPDA office nearby.
