Then no need to worry about it, here this article will help you with the application process for a new electric meter connection.

You don’t need to visit the WAPDA office just for seeking the application procedure or only getting the application form. There is an online portal available for all citizens to apply for new electric meter installation. Here are the details of the application procedure step by step along with the required information so that you can easily apply at home. Consumers of all 10 DISCOs i.e. LESCO, GEPCO, FESCO, IESCO, MEPCO, PESCO, HESCO,  SEPCO, QESCO, & TESCO  have the facility to submit an online application for new electricity connections.

There is a portal developed and maintained by Power Information Technology Company (PITC) operating under the Ministry of Energy. PITC Team has developed an online application system along with the submission of soft copies of required documents. The purpose of uploading the required documents is that you are not submitting any dummy application, it’s a valid application.

Make sure you have the following documents in soft form

1. Property Document Copy: Premises where the meter will be installed
2. Attested Copy of CNIC of Applicant
3. Attested CNIC Copy of Witness (In case of single-phase connection, no witness is required)
4. Neighbor electricity bill: It helps the WAPDA official to find the exact location where the meter will be installed

Steps to get new electricity connections are as under

Step 1: Fill the Online Application Form on http://www.enc.com.pk/

Step 2: Upload the required following documents 

1. Registry/ Baynama or allotment letter as a Proof of Ownership of premises-Undertaking by the applicant (As per the specimen available in the concerned office on the stamp paper duly attested by oath commissioner).  This undertaking is that I am applying for the new connection, there is no already installed meter on the location of the required connection and no arrears exist. If arrears found at a later stage, I shall be bound to pay those arrears
2. Attested Copy of CNIC of Applicant
3. Attested CNIC Copies of two Witnesses ( In case of single-phase connection, no witness is required)

Step 3: Submit the filled Application Form

Step 4: Get the printout of the Application Form

Step 5: Attach all above mentioned required documents with the printed pages of the Application

Step 6: Send this set of applications and documents to the concerned WAPDA office.

Step 7: Concerned Office will receive the application from you and they will verify your documents, After the verification, a demand notice will be issued.

Step 8: You will receive that demand notice and will pay the amount in a designated bank.

Step 9: After successful payment of demand notice, please send the paid demand notice copy to the concerned office.

Step 10: WAPDA concerned office will verify that paid demand notice, after successful verification, the new meter will be installed on the desired location.
