Coronavirus cases in Pakistan reaches 200,000 in the period of four months. Death toll due to the pandemic is 4100 in the country. Novel Coronavirus targeted Pakistan with its full blow and strength.
Despite having close borders with China, Pakistan almost remained Coronavirus free until end of February 2020. However, the people who came from Iran, tested positive for the epidemic. After this, Prime Minister Imran Khan introduced lock down of 45 days in the country. However, all the scenario has been changed when PM Imran Khan announced to ease the lock down.
People all over the country did not realize the worst situation at the moment. Now, Coronavirus is spreading at an alarming speed in Pakistan. As, people do not take this epidemic seriously due to beliefs in various conspiracy theories.
Total confirmed Coronavirus cases in Pakistan are more than 200,800. There are 78267 cases in Sindh, 72,880 cases recorded in Punjab province, 24,943 tally in KPK, 10,116 cases in Balochistan, 12,206 cases in Islamabad, 1417 cases in GB and 1003 total in AJK.
