Schools, Colleges & Universities reopening NEWS Pakistan
The Ministry of education under the supervision of Shafqat Mehmood in Pakistan has announced that all schools, colleges, and universities will be re-opened from 01 March 2021. Too many meetings, opening and closing the institutes many times and then closure of schools for a long period, created a situation of uncertainty, wastage of time of students. Almost it’s the loss of one whole year for all students.
Finally, after being closed for a year, the schools reopened on March 1, 2020, which is a good decision and very much beneficial for students at all levels.
On one side Covid-19 was terribly ingrained in people’s minds. On the one hand, the many meetings held by the Ministry of Education and the frequent reopening and closing of schools was a matter of concern for academics, children, and parents alike. It was a big challenge what to decide in this situation of uncertainty about controlling Covid-19.
Obviously, the government cannot compromise on human lives. And children in particular had a much stronger chance of contracting the coronavirus. And the whole year passed in the same conflict.
Online classes were introduced as a great alternative solution, but the lack of access to the Internet, the lack of a computer was a problem. And even if these things were available, their proper use was still a problem. Many educational institutions have failed to understand this online system as well.
Therefore, after doing many experiments, it has been seen that the precious time of the children has been wasted a lot. The results of the learning process which is done in the presence of the class itself are the best. There is no substitute for physical class participation and meetings.
It will take time for the children to return to work in unison and concentration because the children have become very lazy due to holidays and online classes. Children’s reading momentum is broken.
Finally, after a year of uncertainty, hesitation, and anxiety, the children have started returning to school. We hope that the loss of one year will be remedied soon so that the educational loss of the children will be removed.
