NCOC Latest meeting about COVID-19
NCOC, the meeting was held today to announce the latest decision regarding schools and other educational institutes closing. Today the Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood presided over the meeting where the federal health minister was also present.

From 1 to till 8th classes
Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood and health minister will be announced that in Covid adversely affected districts all the classes from 1 to till 8th will remain closed till 28th April.
Matric and inter classes
Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood announced that in those districts where 1 to till 8th classes will remain closed but 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th will resume in a staggered manner from April 19th.
Reopening of schools Sindh Announces date
Sindh’s Education Minister Saeed Ghani announced that all over the province all educational institutes will reopen on April 22.
To follow the strict SOPs of COVID-19, Education Minister Saeed Ghani announced that lessons for matric and intermediate classes will continue without any gaps.
On exam Cancellation NCOC announces its final Decision:
The worsening coronavirus situation in the country the Federal Education Minister and Federal Government has decided to cancel the exam for class 1 to 8th. The decision was taken today on Tuesday during an important meeting of the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC)Islamabad.
The meeting is attended by the health and education ministers of all provinces, chief ministers, and administrative units.
O-Level examination:
Federal education minister Shafqat Mehmood said students are less in number in the ‘O’ level exam. So the exam will be taken according to the schedule.
Reopening of schools:
The final date for the reopening of school will be announced after the meeting that will be held on 28 April.
Some important points:
- The exam will be taken to follow the strict SOPs of COVID-19.
- Punjab is announced that the exams are stared from 4 May.
- Roundabout 4000 students participate in the ‘O’ level Exam.
- Matric and intermediate exams are started from the 3rd week of May.
