Sindh education minister announcement regarding schools closure
Minister for education & literacy Sindh, Mr. Saeed Ghani announced the important decision about schools today.

While talking to GEO news he said; all educational institutes will remain open across all provinces of Sindh as per our policy. He further said that as CoronaVirus spread is under control in Sindh so we don’t need to close the educational institutes.
50 % of students will be called only on daily basis as a precautionary measure and as per SOP.
On the same day today, Federal Minister of Education Shafqat Mahmood announced that all educational institutes in more than 9 different districts & cities of Punjab will be remained closed as an extension to the decision of closure of educational institutes in the last meeting at NCOC. In today’s meeting, Shafqat Mahmood reiterated that it’s up to the provincial authorities to implement our decision or change the decision as they feel the need.

On the contrary, Saeed Ghani said that no educational institute is going to close unless there is a tested positive case of Covid-19. Only that affected school will be closed as a precautionary measure.
He said we are closely following and monitoring the situation of Corona Virus spreading. We have shut down 150+ schools in the last couple of months after the confirmation of Corona Virus Cases.
Moreover, Sindh Education Department has already issued notification of the schedule of examinations for the academic year of 2020-21 and detail of holidays for the ongoing academic calendar on 22 March 2021.
All classes’ exams are going to be held as per the decision of the Education Steering Committee of Sindh.
Educational institute violating the SOPs will be shut down and responsible persons will be made accountable
