Dr. Sania Nishtar Special Assistant of Pakistan’s Prime Minister and Federal Minister, Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Ministry announced on the September 23rd on Twitter account about the Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship Program.
Many students are eagerly waiting for the application start date. Finally, undergraduate students got the opportunity of this scholarship to continue their education without suffering from financial crises.
HEC portal is going to accept the applications from 30 September 2021, as per Sania Nishter Tweet.
Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship Program 2021 is the National scholarship scheme for undergraduate students enrolled in any 4 years or 5 years program. PTI Government led by Imran Khan has initiated this scholarship for financially deserving students to alleviate poverty to increase the literacy rate by providing financial assistance.

The date of E-applications for Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship Phase III will be announced shortly for the year 2021.

Both spring 2021 & fall 2021 admissions in 125 public sector universities will be covered under this scholarship so that no eligible student gets missed from this golden opportunity.

It’s expected that HEC will start accepting the scholarship applications in the mid of September 2021 for the year 2021.

Ehsaas Scholarship is a fully funded financial assistance program that is a huge support for low-income families. It’s the ray of hope for deserving students because they can now get higher education very easily.
What financial assistance Ehsaas scholarship is providing?
The scholarship is providing full financial assistance for the tuition fee and pocket money to graduates. The scholarship covers 100% tuition fees & 4000 Rs for monthly expenses
Ehsaas Scholarship Quota
- 50% of scholarships are reserved for female students only
- 2% students are for disabled students
- 50,000 scholarships are awarded each year
- 200,000 overall scholarships will be awarded in 4 years
Ehsaas Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
- The scholarship is only for 4 or 5-year undergraduate degree programs
- Newly admitted students in 2021 are eligible only
- Only students with family income less than 45,000
- 125 Public Sector Universities are included in the list who can offer Ehsaas Scholarship to students
- Two year MS/ MPhil programs, associate programs are excluded
- Students already availing of any other scholarship is not eligible
- Distance learning universities are not eligible
- Students admitted in Evening programs or though self-finance are not eligible

How to apply for Ehsaas Scholarship for the year 2021 admissions?
Online applications will be accepted through HEC Portal

Visit the above portal, where the sign-in form will be shown to you as under, if you already have an account created on the HEC portal then you can log in through this form. But if you are a first-time user, then sign up first. Sign up form is given in the link as shown in the login form.

Fill the form with the required information which is useful in the future.
Documents required for the Ehsaas scholarship
- Passport size picture
- Copy of CNIC of applicant
- Copy of CNIC of father/guardian
- Salary Slip of father/guardian
- In case of father/guardian is not government or private employee, the candidate has to submit the undertaking of income on stamp paper of Rs. 50
- Copies of the Last 6 months of utility bills
- Copy of rent agreement if living in a rented house
The student financial aid office of the university will check the original documents in the university only.
