Chief Minister Merit Punjab Scholarship – Ph.D./ Foreign Scholarship
The higher education department government of Punjab has initiated a fully funded Ph.D. Foreign scholarship programs. Students who are eligible for scholarships will be selected for Ph.D. scholarships to pursue education from the top 50 QS-ranked universities of the world. The scholarship scheme is for the admirable students of Punjab While scholarship is also granted the students coming from other federating units of Pakistan as well; including:
- AJK
- GILGIT BALTISTAN
- ISLAMABAD
What is the Eligibility criteria
- At least 60% marks throughout the academic career
- The maximum age at the time of submission of application is 35 years
- not take advantage of any foreign scholarship in the past
- All Pakistani nationals, both males and females are eligible to apply.
- Valid Ph.D. admission offer from one of the top 50 QS-ranked universities in the world in preferred subject areas.
- Declared monthly family income (including self, spouse, and parents) is equal to or less than 200,000/-.
Ph.D. Scholarship Coverage:
CMMS are fully funded and cover the following things
- 100% tuition fees
- Boarding and lodging(as per approved rates)
- Medical insurance
- The expense of an airplane ticket
Distribution of CMMS Programed Scholarship
- 90% scholarships are awarded to the students of Punjab
- 10% scholarships are awarded to other federating units of Pakistan

- Copy of valid admission offer for PhD
- Attested copy of CNIC
- Passport’s copy
- Attested Copies of all educational documents
- CV
- Copy of research proposal
- Income affidavit on legal paper
- Copy of last paid bills
- Domicile copy
- Copy of previous month payslips
- With white background three passport size pictures
How to Apply
- Secure admission in top 50 QS ranked universities of the world in the preferred subject areas as mentioned above
- Download scholarship application form

- Send filled application forms to PEEF within the due date

- Do not provide false or incomplete information
