Chief Minister Merit Punjab Scholarship – Ph.D./ Foreign Scholarship
The government of the Punjab higher education department has announced a fully funded Ph. D. Scholarship programs for foreigners). Ph.Students who qualify for scholarships will be chosen to. D. scholarships for studying at top 50 QS-ranked universities of the world. The scholarship scheme is for the excellent students of PunjabWhile scholarship is also awarded to the mentees from the remaining federating units of Pakistan; which includes:
- AJK
- GILGIT BALTISTAN
- ISLAMABAD
What is the Eligibility criteria
- Minimum of 60% marks throughout the entire academic career
- Age: The upper age limit as on date of application submission will be 35 years
- not availed any foreign scholarship in the past
- Both male and female Pakistani citizens are eligible to apply.
- Valid Ph. Q. A D. admission (with preferred subject matter) at one of the QS top 50 universities in the world.
- Gross monthly household income (combined self, spouse & parents)≤ 200,000/-
Ph.D. Scholarship Coverage:
CMMS are fully funded and cover the following things
- 100% tuition fees
- Boarding and lodging(as per approved rates)
- Medical insurance
- The expense of an airplane ticket
Distribution of CMMS Programed Scholarship
- 90% scholarships are awarded to the students of Punjab
- 10% scholarships are awarded to other federating units of Pakistan

Required Documents:
- Receipt of a valid offer for admission to PhD
- Attested copy of CNIC
- Passport’s copy
- Attested copies of all educational credential
- CV
- Copy of research proposal
- Affidavit of income on legal paper
- Copy of last paid bills
- Domicile copy
- Previous month payslips copy
- 3 passport size pictures with white background

- Secure admission in top 50 QS ranked universities of the world in the preferred subject areas as mentioned above
- Download scholarship application form
