Sindh high court on Wednesday has ordered the PMC to make an academic board and an authority for finalizing the syllabus for MDCAT before conducting the test. Sindh high court has made an objection that National medical and dental academic board is not formed under the PMC act 2020, so MDCAT can’t be conducted. These non-standard conditions causes situation of uncertainty and stress.
Court said that
“The Medical & Dental Council shall make Regulation to set criteria for admission priority in the scenario where marks/score of applicants are the same/equal.”
PMC also announced that rescheduled date of MDCAT test will be announced later on after the compliance of the directions of the honorable court.
After the test cancellation news students are again worry about the registration process they have exercised. But soon after high court order, PMC has tweeted that same and existing registration and roll number slips will be used for the MDCAT, whenever it will be conducted, no new registration process.
