Who is the Sponsor of Scholarship of Pakistan Science Foundation Scholarship?
Government of Pakistan has approved this scholarship for talented students who are interested in science education. The purpose of this scholarship is to select bright students who want to adopt scientific career in future and then grooming them in their respective fields for making them eminent researchers and scientists.
What are the Salient Features of Pakistan Science Foundation Scholarship?
- A monthly stipend of 10,000 PKR for two years
- Study visit to Science & Technology organizations, universities or labs like NUST University, FAST University etc.
- Meeting with Professors of universities and undertaking research projects under their mentorship.
- Laptop or Tablet
- Free internet facility
What is the eligibility criteria of Pakistan Science Foundation Scholarship?
- Matric passed students from Government Schools are only eligible to apply.
- Student who scored at least 60% overall marks in Matric exam and at least 70% in four science subjects viz., Biology, Chemistry, Physics & Mathematics.
- Private or Semi Government or any other types of institutes are not eligible to apply
What is the Selection Criteria of Pakistan Science Foundation Scholarship?
- Students will be shortlisted based on their Matric exam score by keeping In view the total number of scholarship seats for that year.
- A Science Aptitude Test will be conducted, which is a written test.
- Paper based I.Q Test
- Interview / Presentation on science ideas
- Seats will be allocated as per Federal Government quota system.
- 30 seats are reserved for toppers of the BISEs exams, for which nominations will be called separately from their relevant boards.
What are the documents required to apply for Pakistan Science Foundation Scholarship?
- Duly Attested copy of DMC of SSC or Matric.
- Duly Attested copy of NADRA Identity Card or B-Form.
- Duly Attested copy of Domicile (his/her own domicile is Mandatory, however father’s domicile is acceptable only to allow for the test).
- Passport size two recent color photographs.
- Original paid copy of deposit slip. vi. Application forms with Incomplete, Wrong/False information will be rejected
How to Apply for Pakistan Science Foundation Scholarship?
- Download STFS application form from PSF Approved testing agency i.e. Candidates Testing Service (CTS) website: www.cts.org.pk.
- Duly filled application form are sent through courier or registered mail to: Candidates Testing Services (CTS), Office No.4, 2nd Floor, Panther Plaza, F-8 Markaz, Islamabad, by given due date Application received after the due date will not be entertained.
- No TA/DA is admissible for the test and interview.
