According to the notification issued all schools including grade 9 to 12 will be closed in districts with over five percent corona virus positivity rate for direct or in-person classes. It is said that classes would be conducted online while the relevant deputy commissioners would make sure the compliance with the order by the people or citizens in the pertained districts in consultation with the district health officers.
Markets to be closed by 6pm and indoor, outdoor dinings banned, says Govt. According to the notification of NCOC ( National Command Operation Center) , the KPK (Khyber Pakhtun Khwa) government on Saturday informed the suspension of physical classes for grades 9 to 12 in the district due to over five percent corona virus positivity rate. The educational institutes had begun again the direct or one_ to_ one classes for grade 9 to 12 last Monday, while the classes for level 1 to 8 remained suspended due to increase in corona virus incidence. The students attended classes unconsciously for four days only.
All commercial activities centers and markets shall be closed by 6 pm in the province until Sehri except medical stores, vaccination centers, tandoor, hotels, and restaurants ( for taking away only ), and filling stations.
The notification said that all kinds of business activities & markets would be completely closed on. Saturdays and Sundays, except the basic needs of the people for daily life like pharmacies, vaccination centers, and food items or edibles, the basic needs required on a daily basis, poultry, dairy grocery and fruit shops. It also includes tyre puncture shops, restaurants (for taking away) only, and filling stations. “All types of indoor and outdoor gatherings shall remain banned. Only take away and home delivery will be allowed with strict COVID_19 SOP implementation”, it said.
According to the notification, the working hours for offices would be from 9 am to 2 pm, while wearing a face mask is made compulsory. The users of public transport vehicles will follow SOP and wear face masks. All public-private offices and departments need to strictly implement SOPs regarding workforce presence; the policy of work from home for 50 percent of their staff throughout the province. The district administrations are advised to ensure strict implementation of SOPs.
