It is well said that “be kind to those around you because you never know who you might need in future”. But today if we look at our surroundings every person is betrayed by another. Some are betrayed and some are busy betraying. Now the question arises why do they do so? The answer is the opposite that is loyalty, honesty, faithful these are the values that an honest and dedicated person possesses and the authorities don’t want everything to be done fairly because of personal interest they discourage loyalty and honesty and do unfair dealings with the people.
A person is deceived by another person, it could be an employee disgraced by a company because of not following the orders which are going to get obeyed neglecting the company’s rules and regulations or terms and conditions. A person could be a teacher, fired because of not passing the failed students whose parents paid extra for good grades. A person could be a friend, hit hard because of not giving favor in unfair matters and not appreciating in wrongdoings. A person could be a student who failed or neglected in a class by the teacher because of speaking the truth about the class fight in front of the Principal. A person could be a soldier, called a traitor because of enclosing the reality of political affairs. A person could be a child beaten and hurt because of telling the reality about other kid’s mischief. A person could be a social worker, shot dead because of rebuilding society and protesting for the rights of needy and poor ones. A person could be a lawyer, warned for not winning the case in favor of the victim, in court, before a judge. A person could be a judge pressurized for not taking a decision in favor of the victim. A person could be an artist, criticized for performing a role regarding social evils (for instance, a harassment role). A person could be an anchor, called lose character because of speaking and disclosing the secrets of the ruling party. A person could be a writer, his character is assassinated and being judged if the story tells the utter truth and reality of society.
After this starts the blame game. He was cunning! Greedy! Shameless! Bribed! Alcoholic! Incompetent! Unskilled! And so on.
But in reality, what quality do they all possess is honesty. They follow a straight path. The path which we are ordered to follow by God. They are truthful and thus prefer fair work. Now it’s high time for those who do not consider righteousness right. And give people the label of dishonesty. As slow and steady wins the race and success come after failure, so it will be useless if you think of any honest work as a hurdle.
