Punjab examination commission issued a notification on 16 February 2021 regarding the schedule of exams for school students of classes 1 to 8.
Education authorities will have to make sure the conduct of the exam according to the issued notification.

SOPs are needed to be strictly followed so that all students and teachers can be saved from the Corona Virus. Otherwise, the exam schedule will be disturbed and postponed in case of the spread of the Corona Virus.
The Schedule of the exam is as under
Conduct of Exam from 18 May to 31 May 2021
Report cards should be issued by the schools before the 10th June 2021
Furthermore, detailed SOPs are issued for the guidance of education authorities and schools management
The mode of exam for the session 2020-21 is as under
50% weightage of exam marks is given to homework assignment
Other 50% weightage of exam marks is given to MCQs-based paper which will be conducted according to the issued schedule.
Oral assessment for Class 1 & 2 students in the following subjects
- English
- Mathematics
- General Knowledge
- Urdu
For Class III to VIII, PEC will provide 100 MCQs for each compulsory subject
Optional subjects MCQS Paper will be prepared by schools themselves
Each paper will be composed of 25, each MCQ containing 2 marks. 50 Marks for each subject & the remaining 50 will be based on homework.
