NUMS conducts their own entrance test called NUMS-MDCAT and Aptitude Test which is separate from National MDCAT conduct under the control of PMC.

How to apply for Admission in MBBS & BDS
Visit the official website of NUMS to get registered. Apply online on the given link by filling in the required information in the application form.
First, register yourself on the website
After registration, log in to the MDCAT registration portal.
Fill the online application form which will ask for adding your personal as well as academic information.
Once you have entered the complete information required in the application form, you can now download the fee challan form from the admission registration portal.
NUMS has specified the HBL to deposit the MDCAT fee which was 3000 in 2020.
So, submit the specified fee before the due date.

Documents required in online application form submission process
- CNIC/Form B or Passport
- Passport size latest photograph of the candidate
- Matric certificate and DMC
- FSc certificate and DMC
- Paid copy of fee challan
- Submit all the documents and the duly filled form carefully.
- Submission of the complete form is mandatory for the candidates, so make sure the availability of speedy internet connection.
NUMS-MDCAT Entry Test Pattern
- Entry Test Pattern is also described portion-wise in the advertisement which is as given below.
- The entry test will be comprised of 200 multiple choice-based single paper test.
- Duration of test is 150 minutes i.e. 2 &1/2 hours
- No negative marking in the entry test.
- NUMS will also administer an aptitude test of 30 minutes after MDCAT but it has not weightage in the admission merit and aggregate.
- The test has four parts or portions, which is given as under
Biology: 60 Marks (40%)
Chemistry: 38 Marks (25%)
Physics: 37 Marks (25%)
English: 15 Marks (10%)
Total: 150 Marks
