What is National Outreach Scholarship Program (NOP)?
National Outreach Scholarship Program is an undergraduate scholarship program offered by LUMS to talented & financially deserving students across the country.
Main features of the scholarship
- The program is for undergraduate admission to LUMS
- The scholarship selects talented & bright students across the country and provides them a world-class education.
- It is a fully-funded scholarship
- The scholarship covers tuition fees, accommodation facilities, messing facility, and other living expenses.
- It is most suitable for students who are studying in 1st year because in 2021 selection process will be completed and scholarships will be awarded to successful students. FSc & A-Level Passed students can apply for direct admission in LUMS for the session 2021. Same 100% financial assistance can be provided to FSC passed students if they are eligible.
- Till now more than 1200 students studied under this scholarship program in different batches in the last few years.
- Many of them are working successfully in different local and multinational organizations.

- Candidate must have obtained a minimum of 80% marks in the SSC or O-Level examination
- Candidate must financially deserve the NOP at LUMS

How to Apply for National Outreach Program (NOP) at LUMS
- Visit the application portal https://nopscs.lums.edu.pk/
- First create your account to get register there, if you are a first-time user.
- Use a valid email address, because you will receive updates about the NOP program through this email.
- You can download the instructions manual from there as well in PDF form
- After the registration competition, sign in and fill the application form
Important dates to remember
- Application submission start date: 01st, December 2020
- Application submission last date: 30th, March 2021
- Document submission last date: 01st April 2021
- Commencement of classes from September 2021
National Outreach scholarship complete Process
- Submit the application before the mentioned deadline above using the link https://nopscs.lums.edu.pk/
- The coaching session will be held during summer vacation for a period of two weeks. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the summer training session. All expenses will be covered by the university. Students will be again shortlisted after their performance in this coaching session at LUMS.
- After completion of the couching session, students will apply for admission at LUMS on https://admissions.lums.edu.pk/
- After the completion of the summer coaching session, Shortlisted students will appear in the LUMS admission or Entrance Exam called SAT.
- After the test, all students will be communicated for the admission granted in June or July 2021.
- Students will get admission in LUMS in a specified BS program & they will become NOP scholarship holders for the complete four years.
- Merit will be followed strictly for the admission as well as National Outreach scholarship at LUMS
For which program scholarship is being offered?
NOP is being offered for all available undergraduate programs at LUMS. It is actually the financial assistance to the admitted students through the NOP selection process.
If you are good in mathematics, then you can join the relevant degree program after final selection for the NOP scholarship. Similarly, you can take admission in any other favorite subject as well.
Is there any regional quota for NOP?
No. there is no regional quota. LUMS provides equal opportunity to deserving candidates fulfilling the admission criteria from all parts of the country
