Admissions in the Army Administrated Medical Colleges are through 45th MBBS / 23rd BDS Course
Pakistan Army is selecting FSC Passed Students for MBBS admissions in Army Medical Colleges across the country.
Registration: 27 July 2020 to 16 August 2020
Preliminary Tests including Written/ Intelligence/ Personality will be conducted in the month of August 2020 but the exact date will be announced later on.
There are 5 Army medical colleges where selected cadets will get admission. These are following Institutes where you may be selected.
1.AM College Rawalpindi
2.CMH Lahore Medical College
3.Quetta Institute of Medical Sciences
4.CMH Multan Medical College
5.Karachi Institute of Medical Sciences
If you are lucky enough and get selected then you will have to go through two different programs under Pakistan army designed scheme for medical cadets:
- Firstly, you will be enrolled in an Academics Discipline either MBBS 5 years study at Army Medical College Rawalpindi, Lahore, Quetta, Karachi & Multan or BDS Course 4 years study at Army Medical College Rawalpindi.
- Secondly, there is another program which is a Military Training program designed for MBBS/BDS Cleared cadets. You will be provided 22 Weeks Basic Military Training (BMT) at PMA Kakul Abbottabad after completion of final professional examination.
1.Eligibility Conditions
Age: Age must be between 17 and 21 Years as on 1 Nov 2020 (relaxation for 3 months both in upper and lower age limit).
Gender: Male Only
Marital Status: Unmarried
Nationality
- Citizens of Pakistan
- Domicile holders of Azad Kashmir / Gilgit Baltistan.
Dual Nationals are also eligible to apply but they will have to leave other nationalities if they get selected.
Physical Standards
Minimum Height: 5”- 4”
Weight: According to the Body Mass Index (BMI)
Education
FSc (Pre-medical) with minimum 70% marks or “A” level passed in Biology, Physics and Chemistry with minimum grade C.
Relaxation of Marks having 65% for the candidates having domicile of following areas:
- Balochistan,
- District Tharparkar
- Omar Kot
- Northern Areas
- Azad Kashmir (Upper Neelam Valley)
- FATA
Candidates who have obtained minimum 70% marks in FSC Part-1 and have appeared/are appearing in Part-2 Exam, they are also eligible to apply but they needed to provide hope certificate by the head of the institute where they are studying. After result declaration these students must submit their attested copy of DMC to PA Directorate (PA-3C) GHQ Rawalpindi within 5 days of announcement of result.
2.Ineligibility Conditions
- “Not Recommended” twice by ISSB/GHQ Selection Board.
- Declared medically UNFIT by CMH/ Appeal Medical Board.
- Declared medically UNFIT due to Hepatitis B & C (Appeal Medical Board cannot be requested).
- Enrolled cadets and recruits withdrawn/ resigned/ discharged/ dismissed from Armed Forces (Army, Navy and Air Force) training academies/ institutions on the grounds of discipline, character, medical, inefficiency, weak profile, own request or declared unsuitable.
- An individual dismissed/removed from any other government service.
- Convicted by a Court of Law for an offence involving moral turpitude.
3.Registration and Preliminary Selection Procedure
Candidates can either register through
a. Internet on website www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk
b. By visiting Army Selection and Recruitment Centers
Following procedures will be adopted:-
a.Registration through Internet
Visit www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk and register there.
Make email account first if you don’t have because you will be informed about the test date and center. You will be provided computerized roll number slip after some days of registration.
Note: Each candidate must learn basic usage of computer because test will be on computer.
b.Registration at Army Selection and Recruitment Centers
The candidates may go to nearest Army Selection and Recruitment Centers at Rawalpindi, Muzaffarabad (AK), Lahore, Faisalabad, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta, Gilgit, Hyderabad ,Multan, Dera Ismail Khan, Khuzdar & Pano Aqil. For registration/ allotment of roll no slip, along with necessary documents mentioned below and the prospectus fee for completion of registration formalities, the Candidates will bring these documents on the day of test as well:

- Metric DMC Copy
- Attested copy of CNIC /B-Form
- DMC of FSC, if result not announced yet then hope certificate from college.
- Attested passport size photographs must be pasted on Application Form.
- Candidates will deposit crossed postal orders of Rs 100.00 in favour of Director General Personnel Administration (DGPA), GHQ Rawalpindi. Pay Order/Bank Draft will not be accepted.

Exact date of exam will be printed on your exam slip.
d.Important Points
(1) Provincial Entry Test
Candidates who apply for admission as Medical Cadet (for Army only) in AM College Rawalpindi, CMH Lahore Medical College, Quetta Institute of Medical Sciences, CMH Multan Medical College and Karachi Institute of Medical Sciences must have registered / appeared themselves in any fresh provincial entry test as eligible (UHS, ETEA, MCAT, NUMS, AJ&K State exam etc).
(2) Candidate must mention the name of College for which applying (Army Medical College Rawalpindi or CMH Lahore Medical College) at the top of application form (page 1). Candidate can also opt for Colleges priority wise.
(3) During the registration on internet, the candidate must specify his choice for Colleges carefully.
(4) A candidate selected at merit for one institution shall not be changed.
(5) Candidate selected for MBBS in any of said medical colleges if not appeared / registered in their respective regional exams shall stand ineligible.
